Okay, let me walk you through this:

In these pictures, you see blue squares around specific images of plants. Please note that in each picture, the plants with the blue squares are identical. In the top picture, they look like this: imageIn the bottom picture, they look like this: image.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Well, if I had half a brain, I’d say it’s a matching game!

In other words, it’s not a game in which Foxface has to identify plants. Knowing how to do this game does not mean that she can look at a berry and say, “Oh, that’s poisonous! I better not eat it unless I want to die!”

To make my point clear: The fact that Foxface played this game does not, in any way, imply that she committed suicide. Maybe she did— we don’t really know anything other than the fact that the book made it seem like an accident (she was starving, so she ate some berries that she assumed were safe because Peeta was collecting them)— but we can’t assume she did based onthis matching game.

My personal opinion is that Foxface was smart and could have won the Games by just hiding and waiting for the other final two to kill each other. I don’t think she would have randomly given up so close to the end.
